88 North

88 Queen Street East is a master-planned, multi-tower, urban, mixed-use development that integrates residential living with vibrant street retail, restaurants, food boutiques, and a 130-room boutique hotel, in a unique setting that will serve to enrich Toronto’s dense and family-oriented Queen East neighbourhood.

Client
Lee Developments
Location
Toronto, ON

The site is bounded by Queen street to the south and Shuter street to the north, and comprises the entire block between Mutual and Dalhousie streets. Its proximity to Yonge street, the financial core, Ryerson University and a multitude of parks that dot Toronto’s garden district to the east make it an ideal location for students, single professionals and families alike.

88 North will serve as the northern anchor of the development that will include four residential towers, each planned to have a distinctive architectural presence. The towers will sit atop a unifying, mixed-use podium that fronts all principal streets.

Mid-block pedestrian connections scale down the block and allow public access into a central north-south mews lined with shops and cafés akin to narrow, storied and romantic European lanes. The mews will foster a strong sense of community, bringing people together outside their homes, and is punctuated by intimate parks that are inspired by such iconic urban spaces as Paley Park and Greenacre Park in New York.

By blending data and design, we're fostering smarter, more connected residential environments.
