INDX Condos

IBI Group provided architecture services for the design of INDX Condos, a 54-storey, mixed-use building in Toronto’s downtown core. Tucked behind the historic Graphic Arts building, our design reflects the rich history of the block, and ties-in with the classic architecture of the 1912-built art studio.

Located in the heart of Toronto’s Financial District, the IBI-designed INDX Condos is a 54-storey, mixed-use building that blends together the traditional with the modern. Abutting and cantilevering over the historic Graphic Arts building, INDX takes its design cue from this Beaux Arts-style neighbour in a composition consisting of a glass and limestone podium, from which a layered glass and metal tower finds its place within the Toronto skyline.

Designed to bring together a community of like-minded professionals to live, work and play, INDX Condos boasts a prime location at Bay and Adelaide and features everything from a tasting room to a poker lounge. Additional amenities include a fitness centre; party room and terrace; movie theatre; golf room with a putting green and simulator; sports room with billiards, foosball tables and TVs for residents to enjoy.

The tower features a variety of glass treatments and cut-outs, with the top of the building featuring stone work that complements its four-storey limestone base. Most prominent from Nathan Phillips Square, INDX’s north façade has been designed with four, large, illuminated super window frames that enliven Toronto’s nightscape.
